About KickassAuditBot

If you found KickassAuditBot/1.0 in your server logs, someone ran a free website audit of your site at audit.kickassonline.com, most likely the site owner or someone acting for them.

What it does

• Fetches the homepage and up to five pages linked from your navigation, plus robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and a handful of standard paths.
• Sends about 50 ordinary GET/HEAD requests in total, spread over roughly a minute, at most once per site per 24 hours.
• Respects Disallow rules in robots.txt for internal pages. It never logs in, submits forms, or attempts any exploit.
• Reads response headers and public HTML only. It stores extracted text for the report, not full copies of your pages.

Opting out

Add this to your robots.txt to stop it fetching internal pages:

User-agent: KickassAuditBot
Disallow: /
